Mexican-American female composer and sound designer born October 1993. Ruby was introduced to on stage music productions ranging from cultural mexican folk music to symphonies and jazz band at an early age. 

 

Ruby Castellanos's facinasion with music grew as the years passed. In a span of 10 years she learned to play various instruments such as: Upright Bass, Cello, Guitar, Vihuela (5 sting mexican guitar), Guitarron (6 string mexican bass guitar), piano, and even harp.

 

Ruby's music is widely influenced by modern day composers; Steve Jablonsky, Hans Zimmer, Tommy Tallarico, and Martin O'Donnell. Ruby began her first symphonic piece at the age of 20. Prior to the symphony she already had a collection of her own tunes. Some of which were part of the soundtrack to the video game 'Between The Lines' and a short film which was nominated for Grad Fest.
